01 Peanut
Week 37 (September 8-12, 2025): New-season peanuts are entering the market in Northeast China and Hebei Province, putting pressure on national supply and potentially leading to a seasonal price correction. If Mid-Autumn Festival stockpiles fall short of expectations, the price of Baisha rice could fall back to 4.0-4.2 yuan per jin (approximately 100 catties). Looking specifically at the situation in each producing area: Recently, peanut prices in major producing areas nationwide have been primarily stable, with some areas showing signs of weakness. Specifically, Henan Baisha is stable, with some areas showing weakness; large peanuts are stable but weak; Hebei varieties are differentiated (Baisha/large peanuts are weak, small Japanese peanuts are stable); Northeast China (Liaoning is stable but weak, Jilin is stable); Shandong is stable but with some areas showing weakness; and the South (Jiangxi, Anhui, Hubei, and Jiangsu) is mostly stable. Overall, supply is limited (with slight increases in some areas), trading is sluggish, and supply quality varies widely. Prices are determined by moisture content and quality.
Weekly Review:
Peanut prices may continue to weaken in the short term. The key suppressive factors are concentrated in three areas: First, weather. The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts rainfall in Henan's major producing areas for 5-7 of the next 10 days. This will continue to limit drying conditions for new peanuts, potentially exacerbating quality issues and impacting the supply structure of high-quality peanuts. Second, regarding supply expectations, new peanuts in Liaoning and Jilin are expected to... The harvest season begins in late February, and the crops are currently growing well. If the subsequent weather is normal, the probability of a good harvest is high. The added supply coupled with market concerns about production will put pressure on the market from both actual supply and psychological expectations. Thirdly, on the demand side, the holiday effect is gradually weakening, and there is a lack of obvious boost points on the consumer side, making it difficult to form an effective driving force to support a price rebound.
02 Peanut Oil
For Week 37 (September 8-12, 2025), the national average price of peanut oil was 15,900 yuan/ton. Reference prices are as follows:

Weekly Review:
This week, domestic prices for both regular peanut oil and small-pressed fragrant peanut oil remained relatively stable. Peanut oil demand is currently weak, and the market is not actively stocking up, awaiting the full arrival of the new season's peanuts. Rising international oil prices and a tight peanut oil supply are supporting peanut oil market prices. The overall peanut oil market remains on the sidelines, and is expected to remain stable next week, awaiting the peak season.
