01 Peanut
In week 43 (October 20-24, 2025), domestic peanut prices saw a slight decrease and minor fluctuations. The market was cautious, with reduced volume at higher prices. A sunny day in Henan led to a surge in supply, causing prices to weaken. Meanwhile, high-quality peanuts from Northeast China were favored, and rigid procurement supported stable prices. Factors such as Henan weather, Luhua quality control, weak consumption, and the macro environment all contributed to the market's decline. Next week, peanut prices are expected to face downward pressure, with further observation needed regarding Henan weather and the progress of the harvest. Weekly Review:
The short-term market is likely to remain stable with a slight downward bias. On the demand side, downstream food factories and markets are mostly purchasing on a just-in-time basis, and intermediaries are moving quickly, with no stockpiling. On the supply side, the Northeast is still in the harvest season and farmers are eager to sell, resulting in high subsequent supply. As the weather improves in Henan, accumulated inventory will also enter the market more quickly. Only the slow short-term market entry in Shandong and Henan is providing some support for prices. In the later period, attention should be paid to factors such as the opening of major oil mills, inventory building by intermediaries, and the impact of low prices on farmers' sales, which may cause periodic fluctuations. However, given the high planting area and unfavorable economic environment, a cautious approach is advised.
02 Peanut oil
In week 43 (October 20-24, 2025), the national average price of peanut oil was 15,950 yuan/ton. Reference prices are as follows:

Weekly Review:
This week, the prices of ordinary peanut oil and small-scale pressed fragrant peanut oil remained relatively stable. Peanut oil sales were slow, mainly due to weak demand influenced by the overall economic environment. With the new peanut season gradually entering the market, oil mill operating rates are gradually increasing, leading to a gradual easing of supply. Currently, international edible oil prices are relatively firm, supporting the peanut oil market price. In the short term (1-2 months), peanut oil prices will be primarily supported by costs, following the trend of raw material prices.
