01 Peanuts
In week 45 (November 3-7, 2025), the peanut market was generally sluggish, with prices struggling to rise, limited transactions, and weak market confidence. Demand was cautious, high-priced transactions were hampered, and domestic sales were weak, with few actual transactions of peanuts priced above 4.6 yuan. Oil mills received more peanuts than expected, leading many to suspend new contracts and showing little willingness to purchase, highlighting the supply pressure on oilseed kernels. Supply in producing areas remained uncertain; shipments from Henan were limited but may increase significantly after rain, leading to a wait-and-see approach and price pressure based on demand. Significant differences in peanut quality, price, and profit margins across producing areas, coupled with the practice of selling inferior products as superior ones, dragged down the price of high-quality peanuts. This week's peanut market situation in various regions of China:

Weekly Review:
The current peanut market sentiment is pessimistic and risky. Demand lacks strong support, and market players are mostly purchasing on an as-needed basis, making it difficult for peanut prices to rise. However, for better-quality peanuts, the downside is limited due to factors such as stable supply in Henan production areas, potential entry of major oil mills into the market, low willingness of suppliers to sell at low prices, and rigid purchasing demand at various stages of the supply chain. Long-term market outlook requires caution. Domestic oilseed peanut supply is relatively ample, and imports after the Lunar New Year will add to supply pressure. The reluctance of high-quality peanuts to sell at low prices or the delay in consumption could create supply risks after the Lunar New Year. However, current commodity prices are at historically low levels. Investors can selectively purchase at lower prices based on their own sales volume to cope with sudden speculative price fluctuations.
02 Peanut Oil
In week 45 (November 3-7, 2025), the national average price of peanut oil was 15,950 yuan/ton. Reference prices are as follows:

Weekly Review:
This week, the prices of ordinary peanut oil and small-scale pressed fragrant peanut oil remained relatively stable. Peanut oil sales were slow, mainly due to weak demand influenced by the overall economic environment. With the new peanut season gradually entering the market, oil mill operating rates are gradually increasing, leading to a gradual easing of supply. Currently, international edible oil prices are weak, dragging down peanut oil market prices. In the short term (1-2 months), peanut oil prices are likely to remain stable.
