01 Peanut
Week 38 (September 15-19, 2025): This week, the average price of new rice and oilseeds in Henan was 7,510 yuan/ton. The average purchase price of new rice in Baisha, Zhumadian, was 8,330 yuan/ton, and the average price of new miscellaneous rice was 8,000 yuan/ton. In Fuxin, Liaoning, aged rice in Baisha, Liaoning, was 7,500 yuan/ton. The average price of new oilseed rice in Shandong was 7,800 yuan/ton, with some oil mills seeing higher prices. Weather changes in production areas will directly affect the drying schedule, supply, and quality of new peanuts. Due to persistent rainy weather in Henan, spring peanuts have been prone to mold, resulting in significant quality variations and confusing pricing. Dry and high-quality peanuts are in short supply. It will take several days for wheat stubble peanuts from Northeast China and Henan to reach market in large quantities. Currently, due to weather conditions, the supply of high-quality peanuts is tightening.
Weekly Review:
In the short term, the peanut market is expected to remain stable and slightly strong, supported by improved demand during the two major holidays and a tight supply of high-quality peanuts. On the demand side, there is a certain level of rigid demand in the domestic market for new rice and some food processing companies with high quality standards. The supply of spring peanuts has been significantly reduced, and prices have not shown a trend of upward movement. Although prices rebounded slightly at the end of August, this was affected by insufficient market capacity, coupled with increased shipments following a brief improvement in weather in Henan, which led to a slight easing of supply. Later in the year, attention should be paid to the supply and quality of spring peanuts in Henan; the market launch progress in Liaoning production areas; and the entry of oil mills into the market to stock up for the holiday season.
02 Peanut Oil
For Week 38 (September 15-19, 2025), the national average price of peanut oil was 15,900 yuan/ton. Reference prices are as follows:

Weekly Review:
This week, domestic prices for both regular peanut oil and small-pressed fragrant peanut oil remained stable. Peanut oil demand saw a slight improvement, boosted by the festive season, but still weaker than in previous years due to the economic downturn. New-season peanuts are gradually entering the market. Rising international oil prices and a tight peanut oil supply are supporting peanut oil market prices. The overall peanut oil market remains on the sidelines, and is expected to remain stable next week.
